Vaiciulyte - Executive
Administrative Assistant
Coming
from Lithuania through the Art Institute of Kaunas,
University Student Program and the Pedagogical
University of Vilnius, I began polishing the bilingual
abilities I knew I would use later in life.
After
moving to the USA, I continued my education at Governors
State University in Chicago. I must say I was always
fascinated by languages and in this country I have the
opportunity to meet people from different ethnic
backgrounds. Working
with a variety of cultures, I enjoy helping and working
with families facing the challenges I have experienced
for myself.
For
several years in Chicago, I created and participated in
an authentic traditional Lithuanian folk group where we
sought to keep our traditions and common culture alive.
I have a deep understanding of the cultural, social and
economical problems that migrant
families may experience upon coming to this country.
In
January of 2007 I started working at International
Translators at the Elkhorn branch office and I
experienced working with all the different offices in
our company.
My
previous experience at a branch office gave me the
knowledge needed to apply for a position in the
corporate office and successfully obtain the position I
now have.
My
goal with this company is to improve the quality of the
language services we provide throughout our entire
organization. The careful screening of interpreters and
translators is very important to me and choosing the
best candidates ensures the success of my company.
